These are plentiful in minerals that have awesome anti-inflammatory properties. The Italians know best, so trust this authentic recipe!

Cashew Milk Cappuccino

Hold on almond milk, there is new nut milk in town! Cashew milk is a great addition to your daily dose of coffee. It is the creamier cousin of almond milk, and it is much more environmentally friendly. Cashew milk is heart-healthy and also chock full of vitamin K, which supports bone health. This recipe is a twist on the classic cappuccino. Cashew milk makes for a perfect substitute for whole milk since it is one of the more full-bodied and creamier milk alternatives.

What you’ll need:

  • 1-2 shots of espresso (depending on desired caffeine)
  • ½ cup of cashew milk

Method:

  • Brew espresso into a cappuccino cup or cup of choice
  • Froth cashew milk until a couple of inches of foam appears
  • Pour milk gently into the cup.
  • Enjoy!
Turmeric Latte

Everyone probably has heard of turmeric by now. But, have you ever tried it in your coffee? Inspired by Indian golden milk, this latte combines the nutritious power of turmeric root. Although this latte can be offered without coffee, the incorporation of a light floral roast and a bit of maple syrup makes this drink absolutely divine! It can also be made with espresso, but you may need to adjust the ratio to account for espresso’s concentration and richness.

What you’ll need:

  • 4-5 oz of light-medium roast coffee
  • ½ cup of milk of choice (we suggest oat milk or almond milk)
  • 1.5 tsp of turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • Cinnamon for garnish

Method:

  • First, brew your coffee as directed
  • Meanwhile, froth milk until hot and foamy. Add in turmeric and stir gently.
  • Pour coffee into your cup of choice. Then, add in maple syrup and stir to dissolve.
  • Add turmeric milk to coffee. Serve with a nice pinch of cinnamon
Dirty Chai Latte

This is a solid staple for coffee lovers. It also gives a larger caffeine hit, with a combination of tea and coffee. The potency of clove and ginger in the chai spice blend makes it an absolute nutritional boost. These two spices are plentiful in antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory properties. This makes it at least a double whammy in nutritional benefits, without even diving into the perks of its other main ingredients: allspice and cinnamon. Combining this with milk makes for an excellent all-day beverage to satisfy your health and coffee needs. We suggest the fiber dense oat milk, for an extra boost.

  • 2 shots of espresso
  • ½ cup of milk of choice
  • ⅓ cup of chai concentrate
  • ½ cup of milk Dash of cinnamon and/or nutmeg

Method:

  • Brew espresso. While it brews, heat chai concentrate in a saucepan over low heat until it almost reaches a boil. Remove from heat. (if short on time or pans, microwave for 1 minute)
  • Froth your milk to desired consistency.
  • Pour hot concentrate in your cup, along with your espresso. Stir well to combine.
  • Add in frothed milk.
  • Enjoy with a sprinkle of cinnamon and/or nutmeg on top!
Honey Cardamom Latte

This is a truly dreamy and aromatic latte. The combination of cardamom and honey make this latte an antimicrobial powerhouse. Cardamom alone is a magical spice that can be both savory and sweet. It balances the sweetness of milk and the bitterness of coffee. More importantly, its core antioxidants make it super heart-healthy. Adding some raw honey not only lends desirable sweetness but also adds immunity boosting qualities to your coffee. Besides all these health benefits, this latte tastes fantastic!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 shots of espresso
  • ¾ to 1 cup of milk (depending on how much milk you desire)
  • 1.5 teaspoons of raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamom
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon

Method:

  • Brew espresso into your cup.
  • In the meantime, add half of the cardamom to your milk of choice. Then, froth until it is hot and foamy.
  • Add honey, cinnamon, and rest of cardamom to your espresso. Stir to combine.
  • Pour in your milk. Serve with extra cinnamon garnish if desired!
